‘Missing Brancusi’ -original painting

Large 42”x62” illusion painting by Kit King, with custom maple float frame by Cor Oda. Inspired by the shape of Constantine Brancusi’s “fish” sculpture, the cotton canvas is painted to look like a piece has been torn out. A totally flat surface except for the subtle texture on the “tears”, so that the light in the room may catch the raised texture to create a brighter natural highlight which increases the depth to aid in the illusions believability (comes alive at night with overhead lighting)
This original painting is great for over the bed, a console, dining, ect. The large horizontal format makes it well suited for many vignettes.
